12/18/2023 0 Comments Ios 12 beta profiles![]() Once you’re set up in the Apple Public Beta Program and have backed up your device, you will need to enroll your device. Here we’re showing how to install iOS 12 on an iPad, but the process is essentially the same if you want to put it on an iPhone or compatible iPod touch. ![]() Also, make sure to back up your device first either using iTunes or third-party software. Don’t put this on your regular day-to-day phone or tablet unless you’re ready to accept the flaws that come with it. With all preview or beta software, things can go wrong and typically do. ![]() Please keep me in touch as I like to know if you were able to stop this and how you were able to do that.Note: Remember this is still in beta and you should only install it if you have a spare device or are an experienced user. I can only hope someone else may be able to help you out. I sure wish I had an answer for you, but I have seen this before and least wanted to chime in. This must be done, or you will keep getting the notice that the new beta is ready to be installed. You can do this with in the Storage area. If that is the case, you will need to remove that downloaded file. Unless, for some reason it had already downloaded that beta and simply is waiting for you to install it. That is indeed something new I have not seen before. Now if the Beta Profile is indeed gone and is not being displayed under the Profile settings. For odd reason it popped back up and I had to do the step over again by that next reset it was gone now. What I have found in the past is that I had to reset the device and go back to check the Profile again. From the sound of it you did the right thing by going to the Settings -> General -> Profile and removed the beta profile.
